Course Content "Introduction to central nervous system Synaptic communication and learning; Structure of synapses; Neurotransmitters; Control of the motor systems; Reflexes; Control of movement by higher brain centers; Cerebral cortex and pyramidal tracts; Cerebellum; Basal ganglia; Reticular activating system and sleep; Dopaminergic system; Adrenergic system; Serotinergic system; Acetylcholinergic system; Sleep; Limbic system; Hypothalamus and regulation; Control of emotions; Cognitive functions; Association areas in cerebral cortex Applied physiology: Exploration of nervous system in frog; Bulbospinal frog; Decerebration in frog; Extremities choose in frog; Electrophysiological recording systems; Electrophysiological recording in rats; Sciatic nerve dissection and stimulation in rats; Laminectomy and ventral root, dorsal root dissection; Recording of spinal reflexes I,II; Nerve conduction velocity measurement in rat "
