Course Objective Gain the reading and writing skills on printed and handwritten texts written in Ottoman Turkish alphabet and understand them.
Course Content Acquisition of loan elements from Persian and Arabic faced in Turkish literary texts (Grammar of Ottoman Turkish) and according to this it is aimed to improve reading comprehension and writing skills.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Gaining ability to read and understand literary texts correctly written in “Ottoman Turkish period
2Gainig ability to feel secure about the correct readings of Arabian and Persian phrases which takes place in Ottoman Turkish.
3Gaining ability to survey the texts not only limited but also holistic way.
4Gaining enjoyment of reading texts and understanding the main idea without obsessing language difficulties of them.
5Gaining consciousness for the texts which are consequential literary texts and gaining sentiments for realising that language and literature must be taken in hand together.
6Gaining confidence for further education by reading both manuscripts and prints.
7Gaining ability to use acquired skills for other scientific studies.
8Gaining ability to apply acquired skills on the archive studies and carry on with a job.
