To teach the methodology to be applied in Ancient History Studies. To provide students with the ability to evaluate the Archaeological Findings and Written Documents which are the Main Sources of Ancient History. Students teach scientific ethical rules. Students should avoid plagiarism in their research and creation of works.

Classifying Archaeological Finds Teaching the 3-Layer Method 4-Separating Archaeological Findings According to Typological Features 5-To Evaluate Archaeological Findings by Visual and Comparative Method 6- To Identify Ancient Chronology Problems 7-Teaching the Method of Using Second Hand Resources 8-Citing According to Scientific Procedures 9-Teaching Scientific Criteria for Research in the Framework of Scientific Ethics 10-Procedures to Expose Sources Without Plagiarism 11-Surface Research Methods in Ancient History Research 12-The Importance of Doing Surface Research in Ancient History Research in Historiography 13-Use of Findings in Historiography 14- General Evaluation
