Course Objective The aim of course is describing First Muslim-Turkish states in the time of the Ghaznavid Karahanids and mosques, khans, baths, palaces, defense structures, etc.. such as architectural works in detail with the plan and decorations. In addition, the Turkish states of the Middle Ages, the prevailing Mameluk, Ilkhanid, Safavid, Timurid and historical artifacts made by the Turks, who founded the government in India is intended to focus on.
Course Content First Muslim-Turkish states, and the Ghaznavid Karahanids them in time with the works of architecture and decorative features of the plan, will be given information about the impact of the works which will be held later in Anatolia. These arts, as well as the Turkish states Mameluk, Ilkhanid, Safavid, Timurid and made in India by the Turks, who founded the government will focus on historical works. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to give information about the historical and cultural environmentof Karahan period. Built during Karahanids mosques, minarets, mausoleums and caravanserais architectural and decorative structures ever built identify and compare properties.
2Will be able to give detailed information about the history of the Ghaznavid Empire. Specify the general properties of the structures built during the period of Ghazna. Make an overall assessment of the art of the Ghaznavid period.
3Will be able to examine the historical artifacts of Mameluk, Ilkhanid, Safavid and Timurids state in India by the Turks prevailing in the Middle Ages. Their architectural works constructed by them with the decorations, then make evaluations about the impact of the works which will be held in Anatolia.
4Will be able to evaluate The emergence of Islam in the Middle Ages until the end of the first of a long process to do a general assessment of emerging art, its place in Art History.
