Course Objective This course aims to provide analysis on the historical and social dimensions of migration; to gain basic information about migration with current examples with a theoretical approach
Course Content Industrialization, wars, terrorism and natural disasters-population movements-outward migration and internal migration-labor migration, asylum seekers, refugees, displaced persons, stateless persons, human trafficking, transnational networks and globalization- policies - reports and statistics published by national and international organizations; researches made by universities, institutes, thought institutes and centers, published articles
