Course Objective The aim of this course is to gain theoretical and practical skills by examining the basic concepts and applications of fuzzy set theory.
Course Content Content of this course is; comparison of classical logic with fuzzy logic, membership concept, membership function types, fuzzy propositions, fuzzy models, fuzzy conditional and limited propositions, inferences, fuzzy sets, fuzzy set operations, fuzzy numbers, fuzzy number operations, fuzzy set graphs, fuzzy equations, rule based inference, defuzzification, inference mechanisms, fuzzy relations, fuzzy functions and their basic properties, computer applications of fuzzy logic .
