Course Objective The ancients work of the architecture and architects examined in the light of written sources.
Course Content To have information about Anatolia and compare them by reading ancient writer. By investigating the books of Herodotus, Thucydides, Xenophon, Strabo, Plinius, it will be possible to have information about historical events of cities and regions.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Architecture of ancient Anatolia will learned.
2Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Period Anatolian architects learned.
3In the light of written references will be learned of ancient temple architecture.
4Students contribute to organisational studies enables to use the ancient sources.
5Architects and architecture of ancient Anatolia, identification and interpretation of scientific methods and skills gained adherence to ethical values.
