Course Objective to comprehend and take a critical position to philosophical views in Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Course Content This course will focus on various views of Plotinos, Augustinus, Boethius, and some resources of scholastic thought, Scotus Erigena, Islamic philosophers, such as Farabi, İbn-i Sina, Gazzali, İbn-i Rüşd. We will be studying the views of Anselmus, Abelardus, Thomas Aguinos, Duns Scotus, and Guillelmus De Ockham.
