Course Objective The aim of this course is to recognize, comprehend and analyze the main problems of the Philosophy of Religion.
Course Content In this course, the definition and contents of philosophy of religion, its relationship with other religious sciences, the understandings of divinity, the subject of attributes of god, the evidences about the existence of God (ontological argument, cosmological argument, teleological argument, moral argument, religious experience argument), the problem of evil. Topics such as atheism and theodicy, revelation and miracles, death and the possibility of life after death, and the language of religion will be discussed.

1Gains knowledge about the definition and nature of philosophy of religion.
2Comprehends the relationship between philosophy of religion and other religious sciences.
3Learns and analyzes various evidences and arguments put forward to prove the existence of God.
4Gains knowledge about the basic arguments on which various divinity understandings such as Theism, Atheism and Deism are based.
