Course Objective It aims to reveal the thoughts of important theorists and scientists about the nature of religion and their scientific observations on the phenomenon of religion.
Course Content What views did the classical thinkers of social theory put forward against the nature of religion? What are the main features that stand out in these views, what were the points of criticism. What has changed in the relationship between social theory and religion today? Can religion contribute to social theory?

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1The student is informed about the basic evaluations of the prominent names in the field of social sciences about religion.
