Course Objective It is aimed to reveal the modernization adventure in Muslim societies. In the transition from traditional society to modern society, the changes experienced by religion will be tried to be determined.
Course Content What is the adventure of modernization in Muslim societies? What is the impact of religion on the transition from traditional to modern? How has religion been affected by the transition from traditional to modern? What is the effect of modernization movements on the formation of religious movements in Islamic geography?

2 He/She becomes aware of the fact that the bureaucratic renewal process, which is experienced due to the steps taken by the state to ensure its own survival, is one of the most basic characteristics of Ottoman modernization.
3 Analyzes the historical and sociological change process in the Republican period through different subjects.
