Course Objective The aims of this course: introduce the local and foreign sources of Islamic Moral philosophy. İnvestigate the evaluations presented by Islamic philosophy to the basic moral problems such as good, bad, virtue and happiness and freedom. Learn the Islamic moral theories and to introduce the classical Islamic moral books. Provide informational background for current moral debates. The analyze and analyze the concepts related to mental medicine.
Course Content 1 Indigenous sources of Islamic moral philosophy. 2 Foreign sources of Islamic moral philosophy. 3 Evaluations of Islamic philosophy on basic moral problems such as good, bad and virtue. 4 Evaluations of Islamic philosophy to the basic moral problems such as happiness and virtue. 5 The concept of freedom and human freedom 6 To learn the Islamic moral theories and to introduce the classical Islamic moral books. 7 Midterm Examination 8 Examples of moral philosophy texts from Kindi, Farabi, Ibn Miskeveyh, Kinalizade. 9 Moral texts from Ghazali, Isfahani and Tusi. 10 Analyze and analyze concepts related to mental medicine. 11 Fear of death in Islamic philosophy and its views on its elimination. 12 Methods used by Islamic moral philosophers in spiritual medicine. 13 Turkish Islamic Moralists. 14 Final

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Recognizes the local and foreign sources of Islamic Moral philosophy and compares.

3Learning Islamic moral theories, Classical Islamic moral books are familiar.
4Analyze and analyze concepts related to mental medicine.
5Have advanced knowledge about the views put forward about the fear and death of death in Islamic philosophy.
