Course Objective The aim of this course is to examine the reflections of learning theories in art education. In addition, to discuss the effects of researches in education, and art in the 21st century on the methods of thought, philosophy and practices in visual arts education and the new values it brings.
Course Content This course provides an overview of the ways in which contemporary issues, theories and trends in art, education, and society influence theories and practices in art education. The course focuses on contemporary theories and practices that affect the content of visual arts education. Investigates contemporary issues in teaching and curriculum development in the visual arts, and contemporary global issues in art, design, visual culture, and 21st century literacies.
