COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To have information about the tests including different fields carried out at the national and international level, the development process of these tests and the evaluation process of the data.
Course Content Various large-scale test applications at national and international level; scope and purposes of measurement (relationship with accountability in education), what proficiency tests measure, the structure and taxonomy based on, cognitive characteristics, development process of tests (item and ability scaling approaches), features measured by questionnaires and scales, development processes and application conditions, examples of questions used: question formats, the meaning of the scores obtained from the test applications, national and international reports and their examination.
