Course Objective The aim of this course is to examine marriage institution and marriage types, roles and functions of marriage institution.
Course Content Marriage institution and marriage types, the role and functions of marriage institution, potential partner recognition, agreement levels on the criteria of selection of partners of, pre-marriage coexistence, the meanings imposed on the basic concepts of the family and marriage, the expectations of the couples to be married, the effect of the family circles on the marriage receiving counseling assistance before marriage decision, choosing and marrying a partner, counseling process, objectives, role and function of counselor, principles and techniques.
