Course Objective Each student taking this course is assigned a research a project and then he/she presents his/her study conducted on the topic of the project under his/her thesis supervisor's supervision in a written format
Course Content Descriptions of the research projects and their key features, project duration period and its importance, TUBİTAK projects (The support for programme for scientific and technological research projects, short-term funding programme projects, science courses/schools support programme projects etc…), scientific research projects in university, GPI projects and presenting to the related institutes. Course Schedule • Week 1: The concept of the project? The definition and characteristics of research projects. • Week 2: The main points of a research project, and the importance of the project preparation process. • Week 3: Planning, decision-making and time management. • Week 4: Writing and the proposed project phases. • Week 5: The project work plans and the creation of the timeline • Week 6: The implementation and monitoring of the project. Communication, Meetings and Presentations. • Week 7: MIDTERM • Week 8: The results of the project evaluation, implementation and dissemination. • Week 9: The projects of TUBITAK • Week 10: scientific and technical research projects • Week 11: fast support projects • Week 12: science camps / schools to support program • Week 13: The projects of DPT Week 14: FINAL EXAM
