Course Objective The purpose of this course is to have prospective science and technology students examine and learn the development and characteristics of science; The place and importance of the nature of science in science education and science curricula; understand the place and importance of such issues in science curricula.
Course Content History of science and nature of science are important issues for modern science teaching curricula and educating to scientific literate person. In terms of nature of science, understand to philosophies of some famous philosophers such as Popper, Kuhn, Feyerabend and Wittgenstein; to discuss an importance of history of science and nature of science in primary school science curriculum; evaluating instruments about nature of science.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
