COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Master's Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective It is thought that an education to gather information about the ecology of organisms, especially pest insects groups, which are fed on the plants, will be more effective in combating these pest groups, preventing environmental pollution, ensuring the continuity of agricultural production and making the earth more livable. Within the scope of the course, a questioning approach about the cause and effect relations in nature is exhibited and it is aimed for the students to think multi-faceted.
Course Content Individual and Population ecology concepts, study areas, insect behavior, development and structure of populations, changes seen in natural insect populations and causes of changes in insect populations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Understanding basic consepts of population ecology
2Understanding interactions of the intra and inter populations
3Understanding the Communite
4Understanding the Ecosystem
5Understanding the models of the Population Ecology
