Course Objective The importance of seed pathology, important seed-borne pathogens, the symptoms seen in the seed, seed infection mechanisms, infection types in plants developing from contaminated seeds, factors affecting seed transport, transmission and propagation ways of seed-borne pathogens, seed-borne diseases will be taught. In addition, methods of working with seed-borne pathogens and seed health tests will be given.
Course Content Understand the disease concept on and to gain knowledge of the storage diseases of vegetables seed, cereals and grains and bulbs diseases symptoms, to get ability to create solutions on problems related to plant diseases and control strategies
