Course Objective Comprehending Geographical Information Systems (GIS) theoretically that is widely used in spatial data processing and analyses and also introducing the students to basic information related GIS in terms of using in city planning discipline technically.
Course Content Basic concepts of GIS, spatial analyses and queries, raster and vector-based GIS applications, digitization and giving coordinates, database design, site selection analysis, weighted scoring and overlapping.
