Course Objective to examine the concept of the Anatolian-Turkish town in the context of the contemporary urban models, to define historical and spatial background of the Turkish towns depending on political, managerial, socio-cultural and economic factors, to prepare the   academic and scientific basis for planning studies to the future.
Course Content the historical and geographical background of Turkish town, urban network and urban models in Anatolia from Seljuk to the early Turkish Republic,  the spatial organizations and spatial order, urban image or identity and planning experiences.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
