Course Objective
To recognize polluting gases arising from the engine, to handle of harmful of exhaust emissions and to understand the reason for the formation of the emission, pollutants that are spread to the environment by vehicles, the sources of these pollutants on the vehicles and to recognize of vehicle technology that provide a reduce on these pollutants and to earn for the students of environmental sensitivity, to be able to comprehend measurement methods of engine exhaust emissions and measurement procedures . .
Course Content
Introduction, air pollution, measurement units for pollution, effects on the human and environmental health of the pollution, exhaust emissions: CO, HC, NOx, R.CHO, smoke, CO2, forming of the pollution, effect on the exhaust emissions of maintenance and measurement of vehicle engine, effect on the exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of using shape, prevents against the pollution, limitations for emissions.
