Course Objective Introduction to the synthesis and fabrication methods of thermoelectric materials and to teach the characterization processes of the fabricated thermoelectric materials to students.
Course Content Synthesis and fabrication methods of thermoelectric materials: Bridgman furnace, Sintering, Thin film, 3-D printer, Sol-gel, Polymer. Selection of thermoelectric materials according to synthesis and fabrication methods as well as operating temperature. Inorganic and organic thermoelectric materials. Characterization processes of the thermoelectric materials.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
