Course Objective Teach the techniques of organic synthesis
Course Content Laboratory techniques, Extraction, purification and characterization, Functional groups and their synthesis´, Mechanisms of some primary reactions: Friedel-Crafts, Schotten-Baumann, Kümen, Cannizaro, Haloform, Fischer, Kolbe, Wurtz, Wurtz-Fitting, reactions of Grignard reagents, Aldol, Clemmensen reduction, Wolf-Kishner reduction, Chugaev, Diels-Alder, Claisen, Michael, Mannich, Dye synthesis, Synthesis and enrichment of physiologically active compounds.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1It increases students' knowledge and experience about classical and current organic synthesis techniques.
