Course Objective In this course, giving the mechanism and development of mass movements under static and dynamic conditions in laboratory beside model tests of liquefaction caused by earthquakes are aimed.
Course Content Model tests concepts, types of mass movements and their risk assessments, planar, circular and wedge type sliding, static and dynamic tests on models which are prepared from cement mortar, analysis of soil liquefaction and investigation using models
