Course Objective
Course Content Evaluation and significance of an existence of subsurface hydrocarbons with the help of macro- and micro gas and oil seepage geochemistry. Comparison and discussion of direct medhods (i.e., Free-air, head-space gas, deabsorption and fluorescence) with indirect methods (Radiometric, iodin, bacteria, helium, major and trace element and Eh/pH ). Assessment of results of analysis of macro- and micro gas and oil seepages with the use conventional and statistical methods.
