Course Objective • Giving well hydraulic concept, • Describing aquifer characteristics (K, T, S), • Teaching Methods for well developing.
Course Content Darcy law, hydraulic characteristics of aquifers (porosity, permeability, transmissibility, storage coefficient, the factors of seepage and drainage), Determination of well locations, purpose of pumping tests, designing of wells, relationship between fresh and salinity water in land and island aquifers, periodic and non periodic level fluctuations in aquifers.
