Course Objective To examine the physiological and biochemical responses of plants to abiotic and biotic stress factors, to comprehend the ecological value of symbiosis in plants and its importance in solving environmental problems, to evaluate important plant relationships in terms of resistance to diseases.
Course Content Effects of environmental conditions on healthy plants, stress physiology of plants, physiological changes caused by pathogens in host plants, plant fungus relations, mutualism and symbiosis: mycorrhizal and endophytic symbiosis, plant-bacteria relations, plant breeding in terms of disease resistance, examination of disease resistance
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
