Course Objective Provide basic knowledge about nucleic acids, chemical, enzymatic and spectroscopic techniques for nucleic acids determinations, intractions between nucleic acid and drugs and proteins and Higher order structures of nucleic acids.
Course Content Introduction to nucleic acids, Chemical and enzymatic methods for nucleic acids, Nucleic acids structures from diffraction methods, Structures by NMR, Electronic and vibrational spectroscopy, Therotical methods, Conformational changes in nucleic acids, Size and shapes of nucleic acids in solution, Supercoiled DNA. İnteraction of DNA with ions, drugs and proteins, Higher order structures.
