Course Objective Basic knowledge about applications of bioinformatics in biochemistry such sequence alignment of proteins, molecular phylogenetics, structural bioinformatics, protein-protein interactions etc.
Course Content Introduction to Protein Structure Prediction, Protein Secondary Structure Prediction, Protein Tertiary Structure Prediction, Comparative Modeling, Protein structure Visualization, Bioinformatics Applications for proteomics, Protein Sorting, Post-translational Modification, Protein-Protein Interaction, Bioinformatics Application: Predicting Protein.
