COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Master's Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective To introduce algorithms and modeling ideas behind common tools used in genomic sequence researches, and to enable students to analyze the biological questions and improve their ability to interpret their results.
Course Content Sequence alignments, multiple sequence alignment. Revising DNA, RNA, gene, genome, nucleotide, ORI. Find out where the DNA sequence of the cipher is related to the proliferation of a cell by mitosis division. Find patterns that are placed consciously, then find natural codes. DNA motifs, randomize algorithms for finding these motifs. Use Euler Theorem to associate genomes. Gibb's Sampling algorithm.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
