COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Explains the general characteristics of the endocrine system, hormones, the synthesis, release, the basic principles of the effects of hormones, hormone receptors and postreceptor events.
Explains the basic pharmacological properties hormone agonists and antagonists and other drugs that affect the endocrine system,
Explains the mechanisms of changes in cellular and molecular level defined at the syndromes related to endocrine and neuroendocrine system.
Effectively uses endocrine system-related anatomical, physiological and pathophysiological context in terms of pharmacology.
Discusses the newly described mechanisms of signal transduction molecules in the target area and the new drugs in terms of therapeutic potentials.
