Course Objective	This course analyzes 20th century French novel including Second World War.
Course Content	Contemporary French Novel types, place and importance of the novel in Contemporary French Literature, literary movements that have influenced novel will be analyzed with the help of selected works.

1	Discusses general condition of the French novel at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century.
2	Analyzes cause and effects of World War I and II to French novel.
3	Discusses form and content of French Novel before 1960
4	Comments approach differences to French novel after 1960.
5	Comments form and content of French novel by giving examples.
