Course Objective Development of Islamic Thought in the world. Turkey to Scholastic. To understand the Turkish Sufi.
Course Content Sociology and Turkish thought. Turkish society detection. Feudalism and ATÜT discussions. Sociology and politics. And the sociology of intellectuals. Turkish society's problems. Ziya Gokalp and new Ottomans. Western and different interpretations. underdevelopment-the peasantry, and so on. Understanding the economic structure and independence. NATO and foreign capital. Westernization line. Modernization efforts and discussions.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Sociology. Discussion of the concept of Turkish thought. Acquired knowledge and to detect relationships between concepts.

3Sociology and politics. Intellectuals and the sociology of knowledge in the subject. To compound them in the world of information and ideas, to analyze. To criticize, to interpret.

5Western and different interpretations. Underdevelopment-the peasantry, and so on. Understanding the economic structure and independence. To assimilate information related to this issue. To deepen this issue. To do graduate studies.
