Course Objective To be able to realize the original applications of Turkish Linguistics by knowing the theories of the general linguistics of the disciplinary feature in order to be able to perceive the context and the general function and domain of linguistics.
Course Content The emergence context of General Linguistics in the history of science, the scope of General Linguistics, subfields of study, theorists and theories and their fields of study in the field of Turkish Language and Culture constitute the content of the course.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Comprehend the scientific formation of General Linguistics with interdisciplinary direction.
2General Linguistics and interpret the historical development of the Republic of Turkey as compared with practices in different countries.
3Knowing the associations, theorists and theories in the field of General Linguistics, they can apply them on the Turkish Language, taking into consideration cultural partnerships and differences.
4Knowing the importance of General Linguistics for the Turkish Language and Culture in the context of globalization and culture, it can contribute to authentic and competent academic studies in this direction.
