Course Objective Ensure students recognize the homelands, history and cultures of Turkish communities live outside of Turkey and ensure them to learn the importance of Turkology studies and turkologists, their research fields and works about these communities.
Course Content Turkish studies in the Turcology world has gone up until 1700s. The aim of the studies in this year, to better recognize the Turkish community in czarist Russia's borders. In this study Turkish community living in the region to be examined by scientists from different disciplines, is known to work. Systematic review of studies begins in the first half of the XIX century. For example, German origin, the Russian scientist V. V. Radloff, many Turks who compiled a collection of examples of folk literature and materials published voluminous is one of the researchers. In this class, to non-systematic studies in the 1700s will be briefly mentioned, In the first half of the XIX century studies to introduce in detail the scientific work will be qualified. Have contributed to the history of Turkish culture in the territory of Russia both Russian and Turkish scientists who will rely on their work.)
