Course Objective Gain the reading and writing skills on printed and handwritten texts written in Ottoman Turkish alphabet and understand them.
Course Content Turkish prose texts which have been written with Arabic alphabet are read.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Gaining ability to read and understand literary texts correctly written in “Ottoman Turkish period
2Gainig ability to feel secure about the correct readings of Arabian and Persian phrases which takes place in Ottoman Turkish.
3Gaining ability to survey the texts not only limited but also holistic way.
4Gaining consciousness for the texts which are consequential literary texts and gaining sentiments for realising that language and literature must be taken in hand together.
5Gaining ability to use acquired skills for other scientific studies.
