Course Objective	Cumhuriyet sonrasından günümüze kadar gelen süreçte Türk edebiyatında nesrin gelişimini, özelliklerini anlamak ve nesre yaklaşım metotlarını uygulama becerisi kazandırmak.
Course Content	Modern Turkish Prose From Tanzimat to Cumhuriyet prose. Especially non-fiction works: essay, article, newspaper writings, and poem in prose.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	to know the scope and the meaning of the concept of the "new Turkish Literature" and "Prose in New Turkish Literature"
2	From 1860 until the present day the major school of Turkish prose, understanding and recognition of their orientation, to distinguish the differences between them.
3	to see different aspects of prose in the art of the literature
4	Grasp of the different methods used in the analysis of texts in non-fiction prose
5	Gaining the ability to analyze the texts of prose by different writers.
6	Gaining the ability to successfully use the language in analyzing the in text prose.
7	Having a sense of the self-confidence in text analysis
