Course Objective To introduce archive material that is consisted of the main sources of Ottoman History- written manuscripts, and to teach how to use the sources at the level of ability to make academic researches
Course Content To introduce archives of Ottoman State found in Ottoman Archives Department of Prime Ministry, Archive of Müfti in Istanbul and mainly archive of “Şeriyye Sicilleri” in Ankara National Library and to introduce the registries and document catalogues in the archives about the history of Ottoman.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
