Course Objective The topics about the position of scientists examining the history of Turkish Republic as well as the position of Turkish Culture and Civilization among other cultures and civilizations in the world are discussed. Establishing contributions of those civilizations to humanity and examining the foundations of contemporary civilizations is also the aim of the course.
Course Content The position of European civilizations in the XIX. and XX. centuries, American civilizations, the position of Modern America-Latin and Anglo-Saxon civilization in the continent of America, Turkish culture and civilization, the effects of Turkish culture on the neighboring cultures, cultural changes in the Turkish society.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
