COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to define Western art styles between the 16th century and 20th century.
2Will be able to resolve the samples from different periods of Western art with philosophical, iconographic and aesthetic view.
3Will be able to analyse the samples from different periods of Western art, philosophically, iconographically and aesthetically.
4Will be able to solve the relations between the Socio-cultural elements of the artist's life and works of art.
5Will be able to explain the effects of industrial revolution in 19th-century on art and social life.
6Will be able to evaluate the contribution of the visual arts to community.
7Will be able to gain critical look at contemporary art exhibitions.
8Will be able to discuss about the changes affecting contemporary artistic practices.
9Will be able to acquire skills in the percepting chronology, change and continuity.
