COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Will be able to define Western art styles between the 16th century and 20th century.
2	Will be able to resolve the samples from different periods of Western art with philosophical, iconographic and aesthetic view.
3	Will be able to analyse the samples from different periods of Western art, philosophically, iconographically and aesthetically.
4	Will be able to solve the relations between the Socio-cultural elements of the artist's life and works of art.
5	Will be able to explain the effects of industrial revolution in 19th-century on art and social life.
6	Will be able to evaluate the contribution of the visual arts to community.
7	Will be able to gain critical look at contemporary art exhibitions.
8	Will be able to discuss about the changes affecting contemporary artistic practices.
9	Will be able to acquire skills in the percepting chronology, change and continuity.
