Course Objective The aim of course is examining the consciousness in the citizenship of the cities and the use of the Roman and Ancient Greek cities during the Byzantine Period and describe the city of Constantinople from all the aspects.
Course Content Introduction of non-Byzantine cities in Anatolia and Anatolia, the newly established or previously established elements of the Byzantine Period, the period used in the ancient cities, is aimed to identify and discuss their effects.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to know the Roman and Ancient Greek cities and understand their influences on the Byzantine cities.
2Will be able to discuss the use of the existing Roman and Ancient Greek cities during the Byzantine Period and changes in the cities.
3Will be able to define the importance of Constantinople, the Bzantine capital and understand the change in culture, social structure, economy, religion and architecture during the Byzantine Period.
