Course Objective The purpose of this course is to determine the features of local politics with regard to transformations and dynamics with taking into account the international theories, discussions and field researches. transformation of local government, concepts of local and urban politics in turkey and the scope of features in developed countries, theories of local politics, political parties in local politics, local elections and results, municipalities in local politics, provincial special administrations local politics, metropolitan municipalities in local politics, villages and towns in local politics, relations with the local politics of citizenship-participation-representation, districts, gentrification
