Course Objective The aim of the course is to examine the application processes and social, economic and spatial results of urban renewal projects after 1980, in urban and metropolitan areas, In this course, urban sprawl, urban growth, urban development, urban dilapidation, slum, urban renewal, urban rehabilitation, urban regeneration, gentrification concepts will be discussed. Students are expected to comprehend the role of meaning urban conservation in the changing context of globalization.
