Course Objective	This course aims to clarify the process of development of democracy in Turkey and the factors and dynamics that shapes the Turkish democracy.
Course Content	Heritage passes to Turkish Democracy from pre-Republican Period, Single-Party Regime and its impacts to Democracy, Democratic Party Period, Turkish Politics between the years of 1960-1980, Turkish Politics between the years of 1980-2011.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Define the heritage passes to Turkish democracy from pre-Republican Period and affects Turkish democracy.
2	Explain the actors who shape Turkish democracy from past to now.
3	Resolve the matters of institutional mechanism of Turkish democracy.
4	Evaluate the process of generating constitution and political factors that affects the content of the constitutional texts.
5	Comment the evolution of Turkish democracy with a theoretical view.
