Course Objective Introduction to the basic theories of power (political class power), state and local state, and their deep analysis at the local context. State and Local State Theories have been deeply analysed; Pluralist, Managerialist, Class Paradigms, Neo-liberalism, Third Way, Government versus Governance in Local Governments, Theories of Local Politics. At that course students can learn Marxist, Liberal, Neo-Marxist, and Neo-Liberal local state/government theories. The listed theories has also been analysed around how they are effected from the transition after 1980s and Turkish politics.
Course Content basic theories of power (political class power), state and local state, and their deep analysis at the local context. At that course students can learn Marxist, Liberal, Neo-Marxist, and Neo-Liberal local state/government theories
