Course Objective The purpose of this class is to evaluate different interpretations of Aristotle's conception of the knowledge of first principles developed in Posterior Analytics.
Course Content In this class we will be focusin on Aristotle's view on episteme and its relation to nous.

1Gets courage of reading a philosophical text.
2Understands the view of demonstrative knowledge, which was called episteme by Aristotle.
3Interprest the role of nous on obtaining the knowledgeof the first principles.
4Sees the relation of episteme and nous.
5Evaluates the rationalist and empricist explanations of the view that was putted forward by Aristotle in Secondary Analytics.
