Course Objective This course studies the cults of Anatolian gods and goddess worshiped in Lycos and Meander Valleys. More specifically, we will be concerned with those effects the cults had on the social and economic structure of this region. Among the inscriptions we shall carefully read concern how people in ancient times perceive gods and goddess who shaped their lives.
