COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to train students who have total quality awareness, know the principles of Total Quality Management, application steps and can apply this to sports management processes, and are knowledgeable about the current quality management system standards.
Course Content What is quality, determinants and functions of quality, what are total quality and Total Quality Management (TQM)?, Basic concepts of TQM, historical development stages and pioneers of TQM, basic philosophy and principles of TQM, definition of problems in TQM and techniques used in analysis, Techniques used in TQM: Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Benchmarking, Just In Time Production, Quality Control Circles, TQM in sports organizations, TQM in sports services, TQM in research.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
