Course Objective Turkish War of Independence, Atatürk's reforms and Kemalist Thought System and provide accurate information about the history of Turkish Republic. Provide accurate information about the threats to Turkey and Ataturk's reforms, policies and Kemalist Thought. Unite Turkish youth around the national targets in line with Atatürk's principles and ideas and indivisible unity of Turkey.
Course Content The revolutions in the political field, political parties and experiments of transition to multiparty political life, the revolutions in the field of law, regulation of social living, the innovations in the economic sphere. Turkish foreign policy in the 1923–1938 Period, Turkey's foreign policy post-Ataturk period. Principles of Turkish Revolution: Republicanism, Populism, Secularism, Reformism, Statism, Nationalism and integrative principles.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
